Sunday we went to Cinque Terre, a group of 5 coastal towns on the northern mediterranean side of Italy. I took tons of pictures because it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! We hiked from one town to the next or took a train between some of them because a mudslide last October blocked some of the paths. The last town was the beach which was beautiful! It was very different from SC beaches. It was rocky but the water was crystal clear, and then there were the bathing suits...

To get from one of the train stops up to the town we had to climb 382 steps!

Cinque Terre is famous for its seafood, pesto, wine and olives. Here is our lunch:
