Perugia

Saturday we went to Perugia Italy where the Amanda Knox trial was held and where the murder of Meredith Kercher happened.  Perugia is about 2 hours south of Florence and it is a beautiful town built on a the side of a mountain/hill.  It is what we would call a "college town," there is a large italian university there and a university for foreigners.

Perugia is the capital of Umbria and this is there council meeting room where we had a panel and learned more about the Amanda Knox trial.

We had lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful view over looking the hillside.  This was my vegetarian option:
